WHAT TO EXPECT

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our machining maintenance team at EPMC in Wolverhampton.

You will work alongside two other maintenance process leaders and manage a team responsible for three machining lines (Block, Head, and Crank).

This role offers an excellent opportunity to demonstrate leadership, organization, technical knowledge, data analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills.

You will report weekly to the senior leadership team through performance reviews.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
2. Manage equipment assets and maintenance history using SAP.
3. Prepare, oversee, and report on maintenance budgets against targets; coordinate with vendors and contractors.
4. Ensure adherence to maintenance procedures.
5. Lead PQ, CQ, and external audits.
6. Communicate effectively with R&M, production leadership, and other functions to promote a collaborative approach to issues.

WHAT YOU NEED

• Experience in maintenance management within a machining or manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in SAP and other maintenance technologies.
• Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
• NVQ Level 3 or higher in electrotechnical or mechanical qualifications.
• Experience with Lean systems and techniques.
