The Role

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join a successful and collaborative team. The successful candidate will provide on-site supervision for works being undertaken in residential properties, including both occupied homes and voids. This is a key role ensuring health and safety compliance, operational efficiency, and high-quality delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities

• As a Maintenance supervisor you will oversee day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring work is carried out to a high standard and in accordance with client instructions.
• You will supervise operatives and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and adherence to health & safety protocols.
• As a Maintenance supervisor you will liaise with residents and clients, addressing queries and resolving any issues that may arise.
• You will ensure all works are completed within agreed timeframes and meet contract KPIs.
• Assist in the planning and scheduling of appointments in coordination with the call centre.
• Conduct pre-inspections where required and submit relevant reports within set timeframes (48 hours for standard, 24 hours for urgent cases).
• Complete necessary documentation including method statements, risk assessments, and deliver toolbox talks.
• Attend regular team meetings and communicate effectively with the wider management team.

Requirements

• Experience in a supervisory role within the repairs and maintenance sector.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and site protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence (clean).
