A globally recognised high-volume manufacturer is currently looking to strengthen their Maintenance department with the appointment of a Maintenance Supervisor.

As Maintenance Supervisor, you must be able to work well in teams and have experience within a manufacturing environment.

Working from their facility in Warwickshire, the Maintenance Supervisor will have the following responsibilities:

• Lead a team of multi-skilled craftspeople to maintain and repair plant and equipment
• Implement and manage the plant maintenance program based on best practices, with an emphasis on planning, scheduling, and preventative/predictive maintenance
• Reduce MTBF and MTTR for plant
• Use 5 Why analysis for all major breakdowns to identify root causes
• Support and monitor TPM activities
• Coordinate maintenance days, including routines and improvement activities
• Reduce breakdown time and improve OEE
• Order spares and maintain stock levels at economic cost
• Provide knowledge and support to the maintenance team
• Ensure Environmental, Health & Safety compliance
• Mentor apprentices

The successful candidate should have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship.

You should demonstrate electrical and mechanical skills and be methodical in your work.
