Qualifications

• Electrical qualification (City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent) is required.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience within FM/building services.
• Strong understanding of RAMS, permits to work, and compliance processes.
• Experience using CAFM systems and producing reports.
• Good knowledge of commercial building services (HVAC, electrical).

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate building maintenance engineers and specialist subcontractors.
• Oversee delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works to required standards.
• Review, approve, and manage RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements).
• Issue and control Permits to Work in line with site safety procedures.
• Monitor and update CAFM systems, ensuring accurate maintenance records.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
• Produce reports, track KPIs/SLAs, and support contract performance reviews.
• Liaise with clients, tenants, and internal teams to maintain high service levels.
• Identify plant or system defects and coordinate remedial works.
• Assist with quotations, scopes of work, and technical recommendations.
• Support the Contract Manager with day-to-day contract delivery and continuous improvement.

Maintenance Supervisor – FM Service Provider – Manchester - Up to £47,000 per annum This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a large Facilities Management provider in Manchester. This role will be overseeing Engineers on several sites in the Manchester area. The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of electrical and general building services across the site. The role involves supervising a team of engineers, coordinating planned and reactive maintenance, managing specialist contractors, and ensuring statutory compliance and health and safety standards are consistently maintained. You will also work closely with the client and key stakeholders to support the smooth day-to-day operation of the building.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday, 08:00am – 16:30pm
