Job summary

Cbw Staffing Solutions seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for St James's Park, London, to oversee high‑quality building services within a busy occupied environment.

You will lead engineers and specialist subcontractors, ensure planned and reactive maintenance meets standards, review RAMS and permits to work, and maintain accurate CAFM records while engaging with clients and tenants. This is a prestige estate with long‑term career progression.

Qualifications

• Electrically or Mechanically qualified (City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent).
• Previous supervisory or lead experience within FM/building services.
• Strong understanding of RAMS, permits to work, and compliance processes.
• Experience using CAFM systems and producing reports.
• Good knowledge of commercial building services (HVAC, electrical, etc.).
• Commercial and or Residential experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate building maintenance engineers and specialist subcontractors
• Ensure all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works are delivered to required standards
• Review, approve, and manage RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)
• Issue and control Permits to Work in line with site safety procedures
• Monitor and update CAFM systems, ensuring accurate maintenance records
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies
• Produce reports, track KPIs/SLAs, and support contract performance reviews
• Liaise with clients, tenants, and internal teams to maintain high service levels
• Identify plant or system defects and coordinate remedial worksAssist with quotations, scopes of work, and technical recommendations
• Support the Contract Manager with day-to-day contract delivery and continuous improvement

This is an excellent opportunity within a prominent Central London building. The role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality building services across a complex and busy occupied environment, ensuring planned and reactive maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and to the highest standards. The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers, focusing strongly on statutory compliance, contractor management, operational performance, and stakeholder engagement to support seamless day-to-day operations. Hours of Work
Monday to Friday, 08:00am - 17:00pm
