Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor for a large FM service provider in Liverpool. You will oversee a team of engineers, coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, and ensure RAMS, permits to work, and health and safety compliance across the site.

Working Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, you will liaise with clients and stakeholders, monitor CAFM systems, track performance, and support contract delivery and continuous improvement on a busy static site.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or lead experience within FM/building services
• RAMS, permits to work, and compliance processes experience
• Experience with CAFM systems and producing reports

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate building maintenance engineers and subcontractors
• Ensure planned preventive maintenance and reactive works meet standards
• Review and manage RAMS and permits to work
• Issue and control Permits to Work per site procedures
• Monitor CAFM systems and maintain accurate records
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance and company policies
• Produce reports and track KPIs/SLAs
• Liaise with clients, tenants and internal teams to maintain service levels
• Identify defects and coordinate remedial works
• Support contract delivery and continuous improvement

Maintenance Supervisor – FM Service Provider – Liverpool - Up to £46,500 per annum This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FM Supervisor to join a large Facilities Management provider in Liverpool. This role will be overseeing Engineers on a large static site in Liverpool. The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of electrical, mechanical and general building services across the site. The role involves supervising a team of engineers, coordinating planned and reactive maintenance, managing specialist contractors, and ensuring statutory compliance and health and safety standards are consistently maintained. You will also work closely with the client and key stakeholders to support the smooth day-to-day operation of the building.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday, 09:00am – 17:00pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• - Supervise and coordinate building maintenance engineers and specialist subcontractors
• - Ensure all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works are delivered to required standards
• - Review, approve, and manage RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)
• - Issue and control Permits to Work in line with site safety procedures
• - Monitor and update CAFM systems, ensuring accurate maintenance records
• - Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies
• - Produce reports, track KPIs/SLAs, and support contract performance reviews
• - Liaise with clients, tenants, and internal teams to maintain high service levels
• - Identify plant or system defects and coordinate remedial works
• - Assist with quotations, scopes of work, and technical recommendations
• - Support the Contract Manager with day-to-day contract delivery and continuous improvement

Requirements

• - Electrical Qualification (City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent) or Mechanical
• - Previous supervisory or lead experience within FM/building services
• - Strong understanding of RAMS, permits to work, and compliance processes
• - Experience using CAFM systems and producing reports
• - Good knowledge of commercial building services (HVAC, electrical, etc.)
