Job summary

Centerspace is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to join our on-site Service team at our Glasgow, UK location. You will help prepare new apartment homes for residents and perform routine repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and other building tasks.

You will maintain the property and grounds, service vacant units before occupancy, and respond to resident requests using a work order system. Seasonal snow removal and groundskeeping support are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Proficient in general building maintenance tasks.
• Comfortable performing repairs across trades as needed.
• Reliable and able to respond to on-call requests.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, painting/drywall.
• Maintain efficient operation and upkeep of the property buildings and grounds.
• Perform routine maintenance on vacant units prior to new resident occupancy.
• Respond to resident service requests; enter and track requests using a work order system.
• Keep amenity areas in clean and operable condition; seasonally assist with snow removal and groundskeeping.
