Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a Community team and Estates Management in London. You will perform repairs, maintenance, and statutory compliance tasks across building fabric and M&E systems, diagnosing faults, and completing planned and unplanned works.

The role requires a trade qualification, experience in domestic maintenance, and strong communication with residents and contractors. Onsite work with a focus on safety and service quality is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in repairs and maintenance in domestic/residential environments or similar trades.
• Trade qualification relevant to repairs (plumbing/electrical) is essential.
• Fluent English verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to resident experience with high-standard repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Inspect and diagnose faults; plan and complete works in building fabric and M&E systems.
• Maintain maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety systems.
• Coordinate with contractors and track progress using the maintenance system.
• Carry out annual PAT testing, emergency lighting checks, and fire safety checks.
