Job summary

Southside Housing Association invites a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team in Glasgow. You will provide reactive and planned maintenance support with a focus on quality service and safety.

The role requires good problem solving, IT competence, a valid driving licence and the ability to work in a fast-moving environment. We offer 35 hours per week, 40 days leave, and a Defined Contribution Pension.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical knowledge and problem‑solving skills.
• Team player with a can-do attitude and a desire to learn.
• Competence in using IT packages.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle for work use.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a reactive and void maintenance service from a client perspective.
• Participate in planned maintenance activities.
• Competent repair diagnosis and contractor liaison.
• Maintain excellent communication and organisation skills.
• Work effectively in a changing environment with competing pressures.
