Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK, formerly Hanson UK, is seeking a Maintenance Planning Technician for Ketton Cement Works in Stamford. You will develop and deliver effective maintenance planning and scheduling, ensuring SAP PM work orders are prepared, recorded, and closed accurately to improve reliability and cost control.

Strong experience with SAP PM, CMMS and MS Office is required, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or coordination.
Experience using SAP PM or CMMS systems.
Strong organisational and planning skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Maintain daily and weekly maintenance plans and ensure work orders are fully prepared with labour, materials and safety requirements.
Create, update, and close maintenance work orders in SAP PM and maintain maintenance history records.
Raise purchase requisitions and support cost coding, supplier info, and invoicing queries.
Assist with shutdown planning and coordination of work orders and isolation requirements.
Support compliance documentation, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance processes.
