Heidelberg Materials UK, formerly Hanson UK, is seeking a Maintenance Planning Technician for Ketton Cement Works in Stamford. You will develop and deliver effective maintenance planning and scheduling, ensuring SAP PM work orders are prepared, recorded, and closed accurately to improve reliability and cost control.
Strong experience with SAP PM, CMMS and MS Office is required, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Maintenance Planning Technician
Location: Ketton Cement Works, Stamford
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week
Salary £50,000 - £52,000 DOE
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Planning Technician to join our engineering team at Ketton Cement Works, one of the UK's leading cement manufacturing sites. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong planning, administration, and SAP maintenance management experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced industrial environment where reliability, safety, and continuous improvement are critical to success.
The Maintenance Planning Technician plays a key role in supporting the development and delivery of effective maintenance planning and scheduling processes across the site. You will ensure maintenance activities are accurately planned, recorded, and closed within SAP, helping to improve plant reliability, availability, cost control, energy efficiency, and operational performance. Working closely with Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance teams, you will support maintenance planning, shutdown preparation, procurement activities, and compliance requirements while driving improvements in maintenance data quality and system effectiveness.
