Job summary

Pertemps in Aylesford is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to coordinate engineers across HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical disciplines. The role focuses on efficient planning of reactive and planned maintenance alongside client communication and documentation.

The successful candidate will manage permits, liaise with subcontractors, and provide progress updates while maintaining strong customer relationships. 40-hour week, with standard office hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in Planner/Scheduler/Service Coordinator or similar role.
• Experience using Joblogic software.
• Experience scheduling engineers in HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience resolving scheduling and operational issues effectively.
• Strong administration skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate engineers across HVAC, plumbing and electrical disciplines.
• Manage client calls and maintenance requests; allocate resources.
• Plan reactive and planned maintenance to maximise efficiency.
• Resolve scheduling issues to minimise disruption to service delivery.
• Manage permit requirements and ensure documentation before works.
• Coordinate with subcontractors as required.
• Provide progress updates to clients and maintain relationships.
• Prepare and manage quotations for maintenance and additional works.
• Order materials and parts for engineers and projects.
• Arrange meetings and workload planning for engineers.
• Proactively schedule future maintenance and meet service commitments.
• Address client concerns with effective solutions.
• Monitor contract performance against SLAs and KPIs.
• Support management and engineering teams with clear communication.
• Assist training and development initiatives.
• Maintain records in internal systems.
• Ensure projects and maintenance activities are completed within timescales and contractual obligations.
