Job summary

Thames Water is looking for a Performance Manager (Maintenance) at Beckton to lead and develop a team of Mechanical, Electrical and ICA technicians across the sludge stream, including the sludge power generator and thermal hydrolysis process.

You will control and audit site activity, ensure safety and compliance, manage budgets, and drive performance while delivering reliable, customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Significant industry experience in maintenance/operations leadership.
• Degree-level education in Mechanical, Electrical or Engineering is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to lead and develop people within a team.
• Strong communication, organisational and safety compliance focus.

Responsibilities

• Control and audit site activity to ensure safety and adherence to Health & Safety policies.
• Lead and manage an operational team to meet internal and external targets.
• Optimise service delivery and champion customer-focused performance.
• Develop team members and prepare reports/presentations for stakeholders.
