Thames Water Utilities Limited is seeking a Specialist Process Controller in Beckton to oversee sludge processing, operate the Sludge Powered Generator and Thermal Hydrolysis processes, and support site safety and regulatory compliance.

You will train comprehensively and work 38 hours per week, with flexibility. Experience in industrial process control and SCADA is valued; a full UK driving licence is required.

Formación

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience managing or controlling industrial processes in a similar industry.
• Ability to work unsupervised and cover shifts if required.
• Understanding of operational health and safety procedures and perimeters.
• Experience with permitting procedures and isolations.

Responsabilidades

• Control the day-to-day operation of the work processes.
• Operate the site according to internal requirements, regulatory standards, and customer demand.
• Process faults and advise on rectification; raise issues to Maintenance Scheduler or Performance Managers as required.
• Carry out plant isolations and issue permits to work as part of a safe system of work.
• Assist with on-site capital projects, coordinating maintenance and operations staff, raising reactive work as needed.
• Monitor stock levels and place chemical orders as required.
• Monitor, collate, and report data to ensure compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements.
• Undertake safety and security checks and ensure health and safety of staff.
