David Lloyd Clubs is recruiting a Maintenance Operative in Newcastle upon Tyne. The role involves ensuring all gym equipment is safe and functioning, supporting a welcoming, well-maintained club for members seven days a week.

The ideal candidate holds Carpentry/Plumbing/Electrics skills, a STA pool plant qualification, and a valid driving licence, plus strong communication and active listening abilities.

Qualifications

• Technical skills in Carpentry, Plumbing or electrical disciplines.
• Pool Plant Operators Qualification (STA or similar).
• Full driving licence or ability to travel between clubs.
• Strong engagement, communication and active listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure all equipment is fully functioning.
• Keep safety of members and colleagues at the forefront of daily tasks.
• Provide excellent experience for members seven days a week.
