Job summary

David Lloyd Clubs in Maidenhead is hiring a Maintenance Operative to keep gym and pool facilities safe and fully functional. You’ll maintain equipment, perform routine checks, and resolve issues promptly to ensure a great member experience every day.

The role requires practical skills in carpentry, plumbing or electrical disciplines, a driving licence for travel between clubs, and strong communication to work with colleagues across the region.

Qualifications

• Must have technical skills or discipline (e.g. Carpentry, Plumbing, Single Phase Electrics).
• Pool Plant Operators Qualification (STA or similar) is required.
• Must have a full driving licence or ability to travel between clubs within the region.
• Strong engagement, communication and active listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair club equipment to keep safety and operations optimal.
• Ensure facilities deliver an excellent member experience across 7 days a week.
• Collaborate with team members and travel between clubs within the region as needed.

As a Maintenance Operative, we are looking for someone:

• Who has t echnical skills or discipline (i.e. Carpentry / Plumbing / Single Phase Electrics) - Essential
• Pool Plant Operators Qualification (STA or similar)
