Job summary

Persimmon Homes is seeking a Maintenance Operative to manage and prioritise workload for high-quality remedial works, ensuring timely delivery per SLA and Persimmon policies. You will liaise with subcontractors, document costs, and provide clear defect details to customers and care coordinators.

The role requires painting and joinery experience, a full UK driving licence, and CSCS; PASMA and First Aid are advantageous. Strong customer service and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in homeowner maintenance and remedial works.
• Painting and joinery experience required.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• CSCS Card held is preferred.
• PASMA certificate and First Aid qualification are advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills and proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritise workloads to complete remedial works per SLA.
• Provide quality remedial works ensuring compliance with Persimmon Pledge and policies.
• Minimise costs and track sign-off and cost recording; identify contra-charging opportunities.
• Complete online reporting via the Operative App for defect resolution records and root-cause analysis.
• Liaise with subcontractors to inspect defects and provide full details to customers and coordinators.
• Ensure compliance with HS&E Policy across the team.
