Join to apply for the Maintenance Operative role at Rydon.

We now have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Operative with plumbing and water hygiene experience to join our highly regarded repairs and maintenance team based in Sidcup. The role is primarily based at Queen Mary's Hospital in Sidcup, with some travel to other local sites.

Responsibilities include:

• Servicing and maintenance of all types of systems and water treatment equipment
• L8 temperature checks and monitoring
• Water sampling
• Thermostatic mixing valve (TMV) servicing and replacement
• Shower cleaning
• Tank inspections and cleaning
• Remedial plumbing duties and general building fabric repairs

Normal working hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. There is also an on-call rota system, which provides opportunities for additional earnings through urgent repairs.

• A Full UK driving license and own vehicle (business mileage reimbursed)
• Experience with ACoP L8 (Legionnaires) and water safety standards
• A Level 2 qualification in plumbing (desirable)
