Employment Type – Permanent, Full time – 40 hours per week
5x 8 Hour shifts Monday to Friday
Participation in a contractual, out of hour’s standby rota
About the role
We have opportunities to join us as a Water Network Operative at our Hanningfield, Dagenham, and Southend depots. Applicants should reside within reasonable travel distance to these areas. You will be part of the Network Services Team, emphasizing health and safety.
You will undertake repair and maintenance work on our underground water distribution network, ensuring safety, hygiene, and high standards, while delivering excellent customer service.
The role involves excavating in the public highway using various techniques; previous experience is essential. Tasks include repairing burst water mains, installing stop taps, and maintaining water flow 24/7.
Please note, this role includes the use of a company vehicle and fuel card for business purposes only.

Flexibility and participation in an out-of-hours standby rota are required.
