Your Place is seeking a Maintenance Officer to help ensure a safe and welcoming environment for residents in London's east side. This permanent role involves general maintenance tasks, health & safety checks, and provides an opportunity to make a real difference in the community. The ideal candidate will have maintenance experience and a commitment to high standards in cleanliness and safety.
We're looking for a Maintenance Officer to join Your Place and be part of our dedicated team to help us with our mission to solve homelessness in east London, one person at a time!
About the role
Based within the Facilities team, this role will play a key role in carrying out a range of general health & safety room checks, cleaning, building maintenance and caretaking tasks. The role will report to and support the Facilities Manager in the delivery of planned, reactive maintenance and cleaning tasks.
The role will ensure a safe, clean and welcoming environment for residents, employees and visitors by providing a repairing, maintenance cleaning service in order to keep the various buildings and grounds to the highest standard, whilst minimising the need for external contractors.
Salary: £28,000 - £28,712 annual salary
Contract: Permanent
Hours:37.5 hours
