Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking experienced and motivated tree climbers/maintenance officers to ensure that all WDH trees remain safe and healthy.

As part of our Landscape Team, you will work both from the ground and within the tree canopy using specialized equipment to maintain trees to high standards, while always adhering to safe working practices to protect yourself and the public.

Requirements:

  • Experience in and ability to perform all tree work according to British Standards, using appropriate arboriculture equipment and machinery.
  • An understanding of customer care principles.
  • Proven awareness of health and safety procedures.
  • Ability to undertake various duties that positively impact our environment.

Applicants must have a valid UK driving license and the ability to tow trailers under C1E regulations to travel across the district and to designated locations.

Note: Working hours are flexible and may include evenings and weekends, especially during adverse weather conditions. The role may also require responding to emergencies outside normal hours.
