School visits are encouraged. Please contact the school to arrange a suitable time.

Avanti House Secondary School, located in Stanmore, Harrow, is a thriving school. OFSTED (2023) highlights that "In addition to achieving well academically, pupils are very well supported to develop more widely. The culture and ethos of the school ensure that pupils are taught to be responsible and caring citizens."

As a co-educational Hindu-faith school welcoming pupils and staff of all backgrounds, our site features sports facilities, theatre, specialist classrooms, dining spaces, and a worship room, all within walking distance from Canons Park station.

Our staff are passionate about their roles and dedicated to providing a fulfilling learning experience, helping students discover their unique gifts and potential for lifelong learning.

Principal Simon Arnell states, "The highlight of our school is our staff, who give students opportunities to become the best versions of themselves and help make the world a better place."

What will you do?

  • Carry out preparatory work, under supervision, for practical lessons.
  • Assist, advise, and demonstrate the use of equipment and resources to students and staff.
  • Deliver apparatus, equipment, and materials to classrooms, retrieve after use, and ensure safe storage.
  • Support the Head of Art, including providing professional duties outside of school hours during busy GCSE practical periods.

Why should you apply?

At Avanti, we aim to develop well-rounded individuals through intellectual, moral, and spiritual growth, making the world a better place.
