The Torridon is seeking a practical, hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance function across the resort. You will oversee day-to-day maintenance, plan preventative works, and respond quickly to issues to ensure our buildings, facilities and guest areas are safe and running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance management, facilities management, estates or building services.
• Strong practical maintenance knowledge and sound technical judgement.
• Experience leading, supervising or coordinating a small team.
• Good organisational skills with ability to plan and prioritise tasks.
• Clear communication with colleagues, managers, contractors and suppliers.
• Strong understanding of safe working practices and compliance.
• Experience in hospitality or service-led environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and motivate the maintenance team to deliver safe, efficient work.
• Plan, manage and record preventative maintenance across the resort.
• Respond promptly to faults and guest-impacting issues.
• Maintain guest areas, back-of-house spaces, and outdoor facilities to a high standard.
• Collaborate with departments to prioritise work and minimise disruption.
• Manage contractors, suppliers, stock, tools and records.
• Support Health and Safety, fire safety, inspections and safe systems of work.
• Identify practical improvements for sustainability and asset care.
