Job summary

Park Holidays UK is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the on-site maintenance team at our holiday park. You will oversee daily operations of facilities, coordinate with contractors, and ensure safety compliance while managing budgets and schedules.

The role requires hands-on maintenance skills, strong leadership, and excellent communication with guests and staff. DBS check is required; weekend and peak-time flexibility may be needed to maintain high park standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance management within leisure/holiday park settings.
• Strong leadership and ability to allocate workloads, train staff and motivate a team.
• Hands-on experience with plumbing, carpentry, electrical work and plant/equipment maintenance.
• In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with guests, staff and contractors.
• Strong organisational skills and problem-solving ability.
• Experience managing budgets and controlling expenditures.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Conduct health and safety checks and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Plan and implement proactive maintenance schedules for plant and facilities.
• Manage workloads and provide training and support to the maintenance team.
• Complete regular checklists and inspect facilities for hazards and maintenance needs.
• Coordinate movement of holiday homes with Sales Manager for timely completion.
• Supervise siting activities, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Liaise with contractors to oversee projects and uphold standards.
• Monitor the department budget and ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure proper functioning of all plant and equipment and coordinate repairs.
