Job summary

Park Holidays UK is seeking a Maintenance Operative to uphold and repair holiday park facilities. The role covers plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and general DIY tasks to ensure safe, clean, and welcoming environments for guests and staff.

The successful candidate will regularly inspect equipment, respond to maintenance requests promptly, and keep detailed service records. DBS check may apply; weekend/holiday flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in general maintenance, including basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs.
• Practical DIY skills and ability to use common maintenance tools.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and keep accurate records.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks across the holiday park, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and general DIY duties.
• Regularly inspect facilities and equipment to identify and address issues, keeping them safe and operational.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff to maintain high service standards.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs in line with company policies.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations for a safe environment.
• Undertake gardening and landscaping tasks to keep outdoor areas inviting.
