Job summary

Park Holidays UK is seeking a Maintenance Operative to uphold and repair our holiday park facilities. You will perform routine maintenance, carry out repairs, and keep outdoor areas well-presented to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

The role requires experience in general maintenance, basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work, plus DIY and gardening skills. A flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, is needed. DBS check is part of the vetting process.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in general maintenance, including basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs.
• Practical skills in DIY, repairs, and maintenance tasks with hand and gardening tools.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations and ability to comply.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise and keep accurate maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks across the holiday park, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and general DIY duties.
• Regularly inspect facilities and equipment to identify issues and ensure safe operation.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff to maintain high service standards.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure all maintenance work adheres to health and safety regulations, keeping guests and staff safe.
• Undertake gardening and landscaping tasks, including mowing lawns, weeding, and planting.
