Job summary

Park Holidays UK Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Operative to keep the holiday park facilities well‑maintained and safe. You will perform repairs across plumbing, carpentry and electrical systems, conduct routine inspections, and respond to maintenance requests from guests and staff.

You will also handle gardening and landscaping tasks, maintain records of work, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. DBS check is required and flexibility to cover weekends may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry and electrical repairs.
• Practical DIY skills and ability to use hand tools and gardening equipment.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations when performing maintenance tasks.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise work and keep accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance across the holiday park, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical work and general DIY duties.
• Regularly inspect facilities and equipment to identify issues and ensure safe, operational condition.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff and resolve issues to maintain service quality.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work in line with company policies.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and creates a safe environment.
• Undertake gardening and landscaping tasks to keep outdoor areas presentable and inviting.
