Job summary

Staycity Group is hiring a Maintenance Manager in the United Kingdom to lead the maintenance department across our aparthotel network. This role is a 37.5 hour weekly contract, located in Liverpool, with a focus on preventing issues and delivering top guest comfort.

You will manage the team, work with Housekeeping, and oversee planned and reactive maintenance while supporting budget planning and safety compliance to uphold Staycity standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years minimum experience in a managerial or supervisory position in maintenance.
• Up-to-date knowledge of country/property specific maintenance, safety and health regulations.
• Experience in a hospitality property/hotel environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all maintenance department resources and team members and optimize the team’s work by drawing up and coordinating schedules.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping to ensure rooms are in presentable working order for maximum occupancy and guest experience.
• Support planned maintenance checks and take a hands-on role in reactive maintenance.
• Deliver daily, weekly and monthly quality and safety checks and ensure equipment is operating in the apartments and public areas.
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance and promote environmental protection measures.
• Manage stocks and purchasing of equipment and supplies for the department.
• Assist the General Manager in drawing up budgets for maintenance and capital investment.
• Ensure compliance with current safety procedures and monitor building and safety systems.
• Report and mitigate potential hazards promptly.
