Job summary

Kew Green Hotels is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance activity across a UK hotel. You’ll own the maintenance function, manage contractors, plan preventative maintenance, and ensure safety, compliance and high operational standards for guests and colleagues.

You’ll lead a team, develop skills, manage budgets and drive long-term asset value with a proactive, solutions-focused approach in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Maintenance Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge across general maintenance disciplines.
• Solid understanding of health, safety and compliance regulations.
• Experience managing budgets, contractors and maintenance programmes.
• Strong leadership skills, with ability to coach, motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hotel is safe, functional and well maintained across all guest and back-of-house areas.
• Lead maintenance team with clear direction, support and development.
• Plan and deliver preventative maintenance programmes and reactive repairs.
• Manage maintenance projects, repairs and refurbishments with minimal disruption to guests.
• Conduct regular inspections to meet standards, safety and compliance requirements.
• Maintain records of maintenance activity, compliance checks and equipment performance.
