Job summary

• Willingness to respond to urgent repairs including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of maintaining our hotel’s high standards, ensuring guest spaces, facilities, and behind-the-scenes areas operate flawlessly.
• Lead and inspire the maintenance team, fostering proactive repairs, upgrades, and day-to-day operations.
• Design and oversee a preventative maintenance programme to extend equipment life.
• Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs, from emergencies to room upgrades.
• Manage the department budget, negotiate supplier contracts, and prioritise repairs.
• Conduct regular hotel inspections to ensure safety, compliance, and aesthetics.
• Foster continuous improvement and implement best practices for high-quality service.
• Keep up-to-date with tools and maintenance techniques to bring innovations to the property.
