Job summary

Rogers McHugh, a UK-based building engineering and facilities management business, is seeking a diligent Helpdesk/Service Coordinator to manage refrigeration issue calls across a nationwide retail estate. You will triage problems, determine if on-site attendance is required, and coordinate with engineers to deliver quick, effective resolutions.

You will be the first point of contact for maintenance calls, communicating clearly and prioritising tasks in a busy office environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in an office role dealing with customers, clients or engineers.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for maintenance calls relating to refrigeration issues across a nationwide retail estate.
• Understand the problem, ask the right questions and decide whether the issue can be resolved remotely before arranging an engineer.
• Shortlist priorities and coordinate with engineers to ensure fast, effective resolutions.
• Work a six-week rota covering five days out of seven with shifts from 7am to 8pm, including weekend work and home-based late/ weekend shifts.
