Job summary

Robertson is seeking a groundworker to perform a range of groundwork tasks on site, including tarmacking, concreting, drainage, and kerbs. The role requires safe operation of plant and tools and adherence to health and safety regulations.

DBS clearance and a valid driving licence are required, with a commitment to teamwork and high-quality service. You will join Robertson's on-site team, supporting colleagues to deliver contracts safely and efficiently while upholding company values and customer

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check required before starting.
• Must hold full driving licence and be able to operate in a site environment.
• Good understanding of health and safety with safe working practices.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a range of groundworks tasks on site such as tarmacking, concreting, drainage, gullies, kerbs, paths, flagging, and making good.
• Ensure safe operation of all plant, equipment, and tools.
• Support and assist other Robertson FM personnel on site to deliver contracted services.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety and comply with policies and procedures.

Job description

• Undertake a range of groundworks tasks on site as directed by the Groundworker Supervisor including; tarmacking, concreting, drainage, gullies, kerbs, paths, flagging, and making good.
• To ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment, and tools.
• To always operate with safe working practices with due regard to Health and Safety Regulations, COSHH, Control of Infection, Waste Disposal etc in accordance with legislative requirements and policies and procedures of RFM.
• To provide support and assistance to other RFM personnel on site in the delivery of contracted services. Previous experience working in FM environment & site environment.
• Good understanding of H&S and SSOW.
• RASWA trained (desirable)
• NPOURS - mini-digger/plant (desirable)
• The ability to work on own initiative and demonstrate a methodical approach.
• Good communication skills.
• The ability to work as part of a team and under pressure.
• Dedication and ambition to develop within the role.
• Must hold full driving licence.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Ability to work safely at all times.
• Ability to work within a team.
