Job summary

Robertson Group is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our facilities team in the West Carr area. You will perform daily cleaning tasks to keep surfaces, floors and paintwork clean and safe.

The role requires good English, a proactive approach, and awareness of health and safety regulations. DBS check is required before starting.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS with Child Barred List Check required before starting.
• Good level of spoken and written English to perform cleaning duties safely.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate with clients and management.
• Awareness of COSHH regulations and Health & Safety best practices.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect all surfaces, floors and paintwork daily in designated areas.
• Dust, vacuum and mop general flooring throughout the site.
• Manage regular clearance of waste bins as required within designated areas.
• Carry out planned and ad-hoc cleaning duties within the building and on equipment throughout the site.
• Ensure facilities and services operate in compliance with Health and Safety legislation and procedures.
• Report all accidents and incidents as appropriate.

Job description

• Cleaning and disinfect every day all work surfaces and floors and paintwork in the designated areas
• Dusting, vacuuming and mopping general flooring throughout the site
• To carry out regular clearance of waste bins as required within the designated working areas.
• Carrying out planned and ad-hoc cleaning duties within the building and to equipment located throughout the site
• Ensuring that the facilities and services operate in compliance with Health and Safety legislation and procedures
• Reporting all accidents and incidents as appropriate
  General experience of cleaning
• Able to exercise initiative and prioritise duties accordingly
• Knowledge of Health & Safety best practises
• Awareness of COSHH regulations
• Takes initiative and works reliably
• Candidates need a good working level of spoken and written English to carry out cleaning duties safely and to communicate with clients and the management team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
