Job summary

The Sterling Choice are recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a reputable FMCG manufacturer in Northampton. This is a Monday-Friday days role with no nights or weekend shifts, offering a solid work‑life balance.

You will fault-find electrically, carry out planned and reactive maintenance, and contribute to continuous improvement projects to keep production running smoothly. You’ll work closely with production, complete PPMs, and help drive improvements on an established site that

Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We're working with a very well-established and highly reputable FMCG manufurer who are looking for an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

Just a solid Monday-Friday days role with a business that has been around for years, knows what it's doing and genuinely invests in its engineering team.

What will you be doing?

• actKeeping production running smoothly
• Electrical fault-finding and repairs
• Planned and reactive maintenance
• Completing PPMs and reducing those dreaded breakdowns
• Getting involved in continuous improvement and engineering projects
• Working closely with production to keep everything moving

What are we looking for?

• Is electrically biased and confident fault-finding
• Has solid industrial maintenance experience
• Ideally has an FMCG, food or manufacturing background
• Holds relevant electrical qualifications
• Enjoys getting stuck in rather than watching someone else fix it
• Can look at a fault, figure it out and get the machinery back up and running
