Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd in Bromborough is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing site. You will work on state-of-the-art production lines, delivering reliable electrical maintenance and hands-on fault-finding to maximise uptime.

The role operates Monday to Friday days, with opportunities for overtime and ongoing training. You will contribute to continuous improvement, preventative maintenance planning, and safety compliance within a high-volume

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience in an industrial/FMCG environment.
• Hands-on maintenance including planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory.

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer.

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced, high-volume FMCG manufacturing site in Bromborough. The company has heavily invested in advanced automation, continuous improvement projects, and state-of-the-art production lines, making it an excellent workplace for engineers seeking career development, technical growth, and long-term progression.

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of automated and semi-automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency in a demanding FMCG environment.

Working on a Monday to Friday days shift pattern, you will play a key role in minimising downtime, supporting production targets, and driving continuous improvement across the site.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast paced industrial factory.

Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Strong hands-on electrical fault-finding experience on production machinery.
• Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment with automated machinery.
• Knowledge of PLC fault finding (advantageous).

Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Previous experience within FMCG, food, beverage or packaging environments.
