Hunter Selection Limited is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a leading manufacturer in Clevedon, North Somerset. The role offers a salary of £52,000–£53,700 and a Monday–Friday pattern with one weekend in four, plus time off in the week.

Qualifications

• Continuous improvement mindset and ability to drive improvements.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards and practices.
• Experience working in food, packaging, or beverage manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out maintenance inspections and review parts used.
• Recommend improvements aligned with projects and schedules; perform safety checks on equipment.
• Monitor plant conditions, report defects, and repair machinery.
• Generate and maintain SOPs and risk assessments.
• Report on plant performance and drive actions on non-conformances.
• Work with valves and pumps across plant systems.

Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Planned Maintenance inspections, review parts used
• Recommend improvements in line with projects and maintenance schedules, carry out safety checks on range of equipment
• Monitor plant conditions, report defects, repair of machinery
• Generate and maintain compliance to SOP's, risk assessments
• Report on plant performance using systems, ensure action on non-conformance issues
• Working on a range of valves & Pumps

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Continuous improvement knowledge
• Strong knowledge of good engineering standards
• Experience in food, packaging, drink, manufacturing environments
