Hunter Selection is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturing site in Stoke-on-Trent. The role involves maintaining and improving production equipment, responding to breakdowns, and carrying out planned preventative maintenance to maximise uptime.

You will need an engineering qualification and experience in a manufacturing environment. The package includes a £45,000 salary, rotating days and noons shifts, an early finish every Friday, a pension, training and development opportunities,

Formación

• Engineering qualification or equivalent in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills evident in production environments.
• Electrical, mechanical or multi-skilled background considered.

Responsabilidades

We're currently recruiting for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing company offering a competitive salary, a great shift pattern, and an early finish every Friday.

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving production equipment, responding to breakdowns, and carrying out planned preventative maintenance to ensure maximum machine uptime.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Respond to machinery breakdowns and minimise downtime.
• Support continuous improvement projects across the site.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health & safety standards.

About You

• Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC, or equivalent).
• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Electrical, mechanical or multi-skilled background considered.
• Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Shift Pattern (37.5 Hours Per Week)

Days Shift
Monday to Thursday: 06:00 - 14:10
Friday: 06:00 - 13:10

Noons Shift
Monday to Thursday: 14:00 - 22:10
Friday: 13:00 - 20:10
