Job summary

Shillito Group is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Ilkeston. You will maintain DC motors, drives, and process control equipment on a 4-on/4-off night shift, ensuring reliability of PVCu recycling extrusion plant and related systems.

The role requires both electrical and mechanical installation/maintenance experience, ability to read drawings, and PLC repair knowledge. A Level 3 apprenticeship and a full driving licence are expected.

HOURS: 4on4off, Nights 19:00 - 07:00
SALARY: 48,179.04 plus shift allowance and excellent benefits

Our client is a large, sucessful manufacturer who are strengthening their Engineering team, and are recruiting for an additional Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer within our Ilkeston based site, working 4 on 4 off Nights.

The role:

• Maintenance of DC motors and associated drives
• Maintenance of process control equipment
• Electrical installations and/or mechanical installation work
• Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance systems (mechanical and electrical)
• Breakdown maintenance involving fault finding on industrial and process control systems
• Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs on PVCu recycling extrusion plant and process equipment

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR MULTI SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEERS:

• Mechanical and Electrical installation and maintenance experience
• Recognised Electrical / Mechanical maintenance apprenticeship / training scheme Level 3
• Understand and be able to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
• Previous experience of maintenance and repair of PLC systems
• Full Driving license required
