Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Leicester with a strong electrical bias to join a heavy industrial manufacturing operation. You will maintain, repair and ensure the continuous running of manufacturing equipment within a team of engineers.

The role involves working on 3-phase electrics, hydraulics and pneumatics, PLC fault-finding, and contributing to continuous improvement. Shift pattern includes early, late and nights with one week of nights every five weeks.

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Multi-Skilled
Location: Leicester
Salary: Basic up to £48,000 plus Benefits
Shift: Earlies, Lates and Nights - 5 week Rotating

Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer.

You will be responsible for maintenance, repair, breakdown and the smooth operation of the manufacturing equipment as well as an active role in continuous improvement projects.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias.
• Hold some form of Electrical qualification.

Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Ideally worked within a manufacturing environment previously.
• Worked to 3-Phase Electrics as well as sound hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge and experience.
• PLC Fault-Finding experience.
• Be a self-starter as well as a team player.
• Be willing to work a Earlies, Lates & Nights shift pattern. You will only do 1 week of Night Shift every 5 weeks.
