Job summary

AWD online is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Plymouth to join a hands-on engineering team within a unique visitor attraction. You will maintain life support, mechanical, electrical and building services to keep critical systems safe and efficient.

The role suits engineers with either electrical or mechanical bias and involves fault finding, repairs and basic servicing across 3-phase motors, pumps and HVAC, with full training on aquatic systems provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified and experienced engineer with electrical or mechanical bias.
• Willingness to learn new systems and practices.
• Strong fault finding and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain life support systems and related equipment.
• Repair pumps and motors including 3-phase motors.
• Carry out electrical installation, testing and fault finding.
• Support mechanical systems such as valves and seals.
• Maintain building services including HVAC.
• Respond to out-of-hours emergencies as part of rota.
• Follow safe working practices at all times.
