Job summary

Preferred candidates have 5+ years in engineering within GMP settings, NVQ/HNC/HND credentials, and 16th/18th edition. PLC fault-finding and independent problem-solving are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience in a regulated GMP environment.
• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding with emphasis on safety and compliance.
• Experience with drive systems, PLCs and production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and proactive maintenance to high standards across the site.
• Liaise with management on works in progress and manage maintenance work orders.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on factory equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance calls and prioritise tasks.
• Test, troubleshoot and repair filling equipment, tanks and conveyors.
• Conduct PUWER risk assessments and monitor spares stock.
• Drive continuous improvement in machinery performance and site safety.
• Maintain uptime and achieve maintenance KPIs through planned activities.
