Job summary
Mason James Appointments (UK) Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to maintain and optimise brewing, packaging and utilities equipment in a high-speed manufacturing environment in the UK. The role covers troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, and driving improvements across utilities and production lines.
The ideal candidate has an electrical NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, time served, and strong fault-finding skills with knowledge of PLCs, motors, sensors, and control systems,
Qualifications
- Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Time Served
- Experience in high-speed manufacturing or processing environments
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities
- Knowledge of PLCs, motors, sensors, and control systems
- Strong safety awareness and compliance with safe working practices
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimise brewing/ packaging/ utilities equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair high-speed automated machinery
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance
- Work across utilities, refrigeration systems, compressors, and production lines
