Ernest Gordon Recruitment is looking for a Maintenance Engineer from a manufacturing or ex-forces background to join a market leading company in Flint. The role operates on a 3-shift pattern and offers fully funded training on electrical systems including PLCs, with progression paths and shift allowances.

You'll maintain automation and manufacturing machinery, perform fault finding on motors, gearboxes, sensors and control panels, and benefit from a structured development plan and long-term

Are you a Maintenance Engineer from a manufacturing or ex-forces background, looking to join a market leading company, offering a flexible 3 shift pattern, that will invest heavily in your development through fully funded courses and in house training on PLCs?

In this role you will be responsible for keeping production lines operational, with the overall maintenance of automation and metal manufacturing machinery. This will involve both mechanical and electrical maintenance on motors, gearboxes, sensors and control panels on a 3-shift rotation.

This company has been operational since the 1950s and are a technical leader in the niche production of specialist filtration systems, supplying heavily into the aerospace, automotive and chemical industries all over the world. They pride themselves on their high quality of work and have risen to become well established in their field.

This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer with mechanical and some electrical experience looking for a 3-shift role, with full internal training on electrical systems including PLCs.

The Role:

• Maintenance of automation and manufacturing machinery
• Fault finding and maintaining gearboxes, motors, sensors, panels and PLCs
• 3 shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, 10pm - 6am, rotating weekly
• Overtime available at time at 1.5x on weekdays and 2x on Sunday and bank holidays
• Call out rota 1 in 6 weeks at overtime pay
