Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Limited is hiring a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to maintain production machinery on a 4 on / 4 off schedule at a modern FMCG site in Wales (commutable from Deeside, Flint, Holywell and Buckley).

You will use your FMCG experience and an HNC in engineering to carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systems, and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC in engineering or equivalent.
• Proven FMCG manufacturing background.
• Confident fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Proactive mindset with focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Diagnose and resolve breakdowns quickly to minimise downtime.
• Support commissioning and performance of the new production line.
• Collaborate with production teams to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Contribute to site-wide continuous improvement projects.

Salary: £54,000 + up to £2,000 annual bonus

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a modern site with cutting-edge equipment. As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring that production machinery and systems run reliably and efficiently. Working on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, you'll carry out both planned and reactive maintenance while supporting continuous improvement across the plant.
