Job summary

Ganymede Solutions is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) based in Flintshire/Holywell on continental shift patterns. The role covers electrical and mechanical maintenance on automated kit including conveyors and Beckhoff PLCs, with a focus on fast breakdown response and preventive tasks.

The package includes £54k base plus a £2k bonus, with substantial overtime and a funded training matrix to develop PLC skills and broader engineering capabilities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical and mechanical systems on automated kit including conveyors and Beckhoff PLCs.
• Respond to breakdowns quickly in a high-pressured environment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on sensors, relays, inverters and motors (1&3 phase).
• Carry out mechanical tasks on bearings, belts, motors and gearboxes.

Salary: £54k + £2k annual bonus + plenty of overtime to boost our annual earnings! Realistic OTE circa £55-58k + 5% employer pension

Shifts – Continental 12hours 2days 2 nights 4 off

Holidays: 25

The Job

As the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be:

• On a shift, you will be working on various automated kit including conveyors, palletisers, Beckhoff PLC and much more
• Your responsibilities include electrical and mechanical working on shift. Working alongside your shift team on allocated PPMs provided via your tablet and responding to breakdowns in a fast-moving high-pressured environment.
• You will be working electrically on sensors, relays, inverters, single and three phase motors, fault finding electrically
• Mechanically you will be working on bearings, belts, motors, gearboxes, pulleys with occasional stripping and rebuild project

The Candidate

The Multi skilled Maintenance engineer will hold the following attributes and qualifications:

• HNC Electrically qualified (mandatory)
• Proactive and trustworthy individual who can be a strong communicator with the team
• Competent Electrically and Mechanically as well as working independently and as part of a team
• Confident in fault finding
