Nestlé York Factory is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to turn maintenance insight into practical improvements that boost asset reliability and factory performance. You will translate strategies into actionable plans and lead root-cause analysis to reduce stoppages.

The role focuses on TPM coaching, collaboration across teams, and maintaining GMP and quality standards while building specialist knowledge of process equipment.

Qualifications

Practical engineering knowledge and problem-solving ability required.
Experience with structured problem-solving methods to improve equipment reliability.
Ability to influence and coach colleagues across levels.

Responsibilities

Identify and manage reliability risks using factory data to focus improvement activity.
Translate the maintenance strategy into robust departmental plans to improve asset performance.
Lead root cause analysis and improvements to reduce stoppages and strengthen standards.
Support TPM expansion by coaching technicians, apprentices and operators.
Help maintain GMP, quality and change management practices.
