Engineering Maintenance Manager role based in Grays/Essex is seeking an experienced leader to take the maintenance function to the next level across production and quality. You will develop a maintenance team, apply TPM practices, and drive continuous improvement while reducing reactive work and improving planned maintenance.

The role reports to the Site Manager and sits within a proactive management team focused on delivering exceptional manufacturing results.

Competenze

• A recognised Engineering qualification – Mechanical or Electrical.
• Demonstrable experience of managing and leading teams within an engineering department.
• Demonstrable experience of the application of TPM within a process related manufacturing environment.
• Strong appreciation of safe working practices and health and safety within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience of departmental budgeting & cost control – Desirable

• Take control of maintenance; build and develop a maintenance team and drive Continuous Improvement across manufacturing capability using TPM Tools and Techniques.
• Minimise reactive maintenance and improve planned maintenance activities where possible.
• Report directly to the Site Manager and work as part of a high‑calibre management team to deliver exceptional results.
