Ernest Gordon Recruitment is helping a fast-growing packaging specialist in Ipswich to recruit a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical / Manufacturing). You will perform planned preventative maintenance on packaging machinery and respond to breakdowns to keep line uptime high.

The role requires an electrical maintenance background and 18th Edition. Working Monday to Thursday 07:30–17:30 (1 Friday per month) offers a 4-day week, training, progression, and free parking on site.

• Previous maintenance experience within an electrical aspect.
• 18th Edition certification.

The suitable candidate will be working with large packaging machinery, where you will be completing the planned preventative maintenance, ensuring machine readiness and performing breakdown response.

The role would suit a maintenance engineer from an electrical background who is looking for an opportunity within a specialist company that can progress your career.

The Role:

• Conduct the Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on packaging machinery
