Synergi Search & Select Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a busy food manufacturing site in Suffolk. The role offers a £51,000 basic salary with overtime, 24 days leave, tool allowance and clear progression opportunities.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across conveyors, packaging, and production equipment, ensuring maximum reliability and minimal downtime while supporting site performance.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Maintenance Engineer experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food production or packaging environments.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Experience maintaining production machinery.
• Knowledge of conveyors, bearings, motors, gearboxes, chains and mechanical systems.

The Role

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across a busy food manufacturing facility, ensuring maximum equipment reliability and minimising downtime.

Requirements

• Mechanical Maintenance Engineer experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food production or packaging environments
