Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical / Manufacturing) in Ipswich to join a fast-growing packaging company.

You will perform planned preventive maintenance on large packaging machinery, respond to breakdowns, and diagnose faults, with 18th Edition as a requirement. This role offers progression and training with free parking.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining packaging machinery and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and servicing manuals.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on packaging machinery.
• Respond to breakdowns and restore equipment to production as quickly as possible.
• Inspect, diagnose and fault-find potential issues to minimise downtime.

The suitable candidate will be working with large packaging machinery, where you will be completing the planned preventative maintenance, ensuring machine readiness and performing breakdown response.

The role would suit a maintenance engineer from an electrical background who is looking for an opportunity within a specialist company that can progress your career.

The Role:

• Conduct the Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on packaging machinery
• Performance breakdown response on machinery
• Inspect and diagnose potential faults

The Person:

• Previous maintenance experience within an electrical aspect
• 18th Edition

Monday - Thursday (07:30 - 17:30), 1 X Friday per month
